The purpose of Tech Transition: The Freshman Seminar
is to provide an opportunity for you to gain the essential knowledge and
skills necessary to achieve your educational objectives at Texas Tech
University. This is a "corridor" section of IS 1100
which is structured as a week of class meetings (2 hours each day - 1:00
to 3:00 pm) from August 20 - 24 and an additional four (4) class
meetings during the fall semester. Due to the compressed nature of the
"corridor" structure, it is VERY important that you attend all class
meetings.
