Vision and Scope

The Cotton Economics Research Institute (CERI) strives to coordinate and foster economic research activities on all aspects of cotton research within Texas Tech University and with other research units throughout the United States.  The Institute focuses on economic research, but also coordinates and cooperates with other research efforts, both economic and non-economic in their primary intent.

Goals and Objectives

1) Facilitate the conduct of economic research on all aspects of cotton (e.g., production, marketing, trade, processing, value added), particularly in Texas.

2) Coordinate economic research at Texas Tech University with other research efforts within the University and with other research institutions.

3) Foster the dissemination of research results in both disciplinary/professional outlets and industry/public outlets.
