| Assistant Professor in the Department of
Agricultural and Applied Economics. Obtained a B.S. in Economics and
Business Administration from Rocky Mountain College in Billings,
Montana, a M.A. in Agricultural Economics from Washington State
University, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Washington
State University. Current teaching responsibilities include AAEC 3315
(Agricultural Price Theory), AAEC 4313 (Natural Resource Economics,
senior level), AAEC 5308 (Natural Resource Economics, masters level),
and AAEC 6308 (Advanced Natural Resource Economics). Ongoing research
interests involve a nonmarket evaluation of water based recreation
resources, statewide benefit-cost analysis of the Texas Red Imported
Fire Ant control program, development of a comprehensive water policy
planning model for the Texas High Plains, and modeling the impact
climatic change is likely to have on agricultural practices and the
playa lake ecosystem of the Texas High Plains.
